I was inspired recently to try a new way to frame and layer. First I cut my paper 5x 5 and used my Martha Stewart Punch around the edges. Then I used a Spellbinders die to cut a circle in the center. I used two other sheets of paper to make two smaller circles with the Spellbinders Circle dies and matted them all together. I chose a simple image this time to place in the center of my card and then used pop ups below my 5 x 5 sheet to make it stand out from the image. Since I haven't done anything like this I decided to keep the colors subtle. The flowers are ones that I made, there is a picture tutorial you can click on in my tab bar above to see how I make them. This is a style of card that holds a lot of possibilities with other images, papers, and embellishments.
