Bwahahaha - I love making 3-D cards - I recently purchased a Pop Up Box Card cut file from the SIL store designed by Lori Whitlock for a Birthday card I needed to make. After making that card I decided I wanted to use the base and make a Halloween card. The background of the card is cut out of black card stock, the panels are from some green in my stash......The tree is a stamp I used my Pix Scan mat on to print and cut to size.. My front panel contains a fabulous 3-D Haunted House from my stash of stickers, this one from Recollections. I then used my SIL to cut the tombstones. The fence and grass are die cuts (the fence is greatly modified to look old)
I got this all assembled and realized I needed a sentiment - with the layers and everything together it was going to be VERY tricky to stamp anything so I once again went to my SIL and cut out the words Happy Halloween in vinyl and stuck them on. This card folds flat for sending. I almost got carried away thinking I would add some bats on acetate to look like they were flying around but nixed that idea as the card is thick enough with the embellishment on the front.
I'm now working on a Nativity scene idea for this template as well - stay tuned I may have time to get it done this week.
Materials: Silhouette Cameo, card stock, Recollections sticker, Computer, chalk ink, vinyl, die cuts
