Just Because

Had to send something out to my son in California and I know he always enjoys getting a card from me so I took about 20 minutes to throw together a card to send.  Nothing fancy but masculine looking.  Love my kids they are always sooo supportive of my work, thanking me when I make a card for them, and always praising my work.  All those years wondering if your doing the right thing as a parent and then they grow up and your proud of who they are, and so happy to have made it through those tough times.

Supplies used:  Our Daily Bread Design Anchor Stamp, CS, Cuttlebug and Nesties, Copic markers to color.

  1. Beautiful card, I always have a hard time with cards for guys, you've done this so nice.

  2. Sherry, this is so pretty. I love this image. Guy cards are difficult, but you found a wonderful image. Thanks for sharing.

  3. Very beautiful card. I struggle with masculine cards myself. Its great that your family appreciates your work. It's sad to think that one could put so much effort into something just for them to place it in the bin once their day is over.

  4. Lovely card, what a pretty image, thanks for sharing!

Hey, I have a giveaway here, please come join in the fun!

  5. Beautiful card g/f and I loved reading your sweet words about your kids! I am happy to say I like all mine just fine too ; )
    Have a very Blessed Easter!!
    Hugs x

  6. Ah, Sherry...wish I could throw one together and make it look this great! I am the slowest card maker ever. lol Seriously... this is a fabulous masculine card!

  7. What a nice "guy" card! Great coloring of the image, and I like the layers of scallops!
